APsmart 406000 Dual Core Transmitter-PLC for Rapid Shutdown System (No Power Supply).
The APsmart Rapid Shutdown System (RSS) Transmitter-PLC is an integral component of a rapid shutdown solution when paired with APsystems RSD-S-PLC module rapid shutdown units.
- When powered on, the RSS Transmitter sends signals to the RSD-S-PLC units, ensuring PV modules remain connected and continue supplying energy.
- If the RSS Transmitter-PLC is turned off, the RSD-S-PLC units automatically enter rapid shutdown mode. Energy production resumes once power is restored to the RSS Transmitter.
- Fully compliant with NEC 690.12 (2017) and supports SunSpec signaling standards for rapid shutdown, ensuring safety and reliability in PV module operations.
