SolarEdge Current Transformer.
The SolarEdge 225A Clamp-Style Current Transformer (CT) comes with a 5-year warranty. The meter and CT are sold separately. This CT is ideal for export limitation and consumption monitoring but is not suitable for use with an RGM.
This 225-amp clamp-style CT requires two units when paired with each SE-MTR240-0-000-S1 for accurate L1/L2 readings. It communicates via RS485 using a 3-wire shielded twisted pair. The CT is used by the meter and inverter for applications like consumption monitoring, export limitation, and Smart Energy Management. In some backup power-only scenarios, a meter may not be required.
